Deep
CALLS
Deep Calls’ is a visual lament and a spiritual cry — a response to the unseen yet overwhelming pull of divine presence, memory, and emotional depth.
Inspired by Psalm 42:7, it captures the moment where the soul can no longer live on the surface, and the depths — of self, of spirit, of God — demand to be met.
A lone woman sits in stillness by the ocean, framed by the calm of blue skies and drifting clouds — a visual echo of God’s presence.
In her hands, she offers pearls: symbols of pain turned to beauty, of hidden wisdom drawn from the depths.
Pearls — often sacred in Scripture — represent the most intimate parts of the soul, not meant to be scattered carelessly, but laid gently before the Divine
